Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is rated as one of the worst Marvel movies
The third Ant-Man movie has hit the big screen, but it’s clear that not all critics are impressed. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania debuted to a 48% rating on the tomatometer from Rotten Tomatoes.
Almost equal to Eternals, which has a score of 47% and has been holding the record as the lowest rated MCU movie on the site. As more reviews from critics continue to pour in in the days and weeks to come, the score will likely end up changing.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Eternals are also tied for CinemaScore with both movies earning a “B” rating, making them the only two MCU movies to have earned less than an “A” rating. Thor: Love and Thunder would be the movie above Quantumania and Eternals on the Rotten Tomatoes list, though there is a bit of a gap as it has a score of 64%.
The film features Jonathan Majors as King the Conqueror, and it has stolen the show for many viewers. There are plenty of critics who have praised Majors as Kang while criticizing what Ant-Man 3 has to offer. There’s been plenty of teasing that Majors’ Kang is the MCU’s next big bad, and ultimately poses an even bigger threat than he ever did. Thanos. Chances are, we’ll see it quite a bit in more movies to come, even if Quantumania did get some whiplash from some critics. Have you seen her yet? Leave us your comment.
