FIFA 23: Server Down on February 22nd – When can you play again?

FIFA 23: Backup Codes for the Web App - So you are ready for login problems

At FIFA 23 the servers are down on PC, PlayStation and Xbox. You currently do not have access to online modes such as Ultimate Team or Pro Clubs. Here you will find everything about the server status and when you can gamble again.

FIFA 23 announced maintenance quite spontaneously and took the servers offline. Since 06:30 this morning the servers for all online modes are down.

  • The servers should come back online at “noon” – we expect 1 p.m. (via twitter.com)

The tweet with the announcement remains vague at the end of the server down, only mentioning “noon” in the UTC time zone (-1h). The servers could therefore come back online sooner, but possibly later.

As soon as the servers are back online, we will update this article accordingly.

You can continue to use the offline modes and practice the power shot. Watch our video for some tips:

Why did the maintenance happen? There is currently no information on this. However, the assumption is that something was wrong with the current Title Update #8.

The update came on February 21st for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. If you would like to take a look at the adjustments, we will link them here Trello board with the patch notes.

However, there could also be other reasons – because in addition to FIFA 23, FIFA 18 to 22 are also affected by the server down.

If you’re going to be a little active on the transfer market on the side, you’ll have time to do that during maintenance. The companion app is still online and you can happily move your players.
