New game from Genshin Impact creators has already reached 10 million registrations – This is Honkai: Star Rail

“Honkai: StarRail“ is an upcoming sci-fi adventure developed by Hoyoverse. The creators are known for the popular RPG Genshin Impact and have already registered over 10 million registrations for their new game.

After Genshin Impact, which was released in 2020, a new game from Hoyoverse is coming soon: Honkai: Star Rail. It will be released for PC, Android and iOS platforms.

Interested players can already register to play the new game at launch and secure their first rewards – numerous gamers have already done so.

Over 10 million registrations for Honkai: Star Rail

How many registrations have there been so far? More than 10 million people have already pre-registered for Honkai: Star Rail. Of these, more than 2.5 million pre-registrations have been noted outside of China, Axios reports (via axios.com).

On the Honkai: Star Rail website, the counter currently reads between 3,500,000 and 5,000,000 registered participants (as of February 22, 2023, via hoyoverse.com). It would be conceivable that the registered persons are counted regionally and therefore not all pre-registrations are included here.

Why is Honkai: Star Rail so in demand? The game studio behind Honkai: Star Rail is HoYoverse. It has already established itself with titles such as Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3rd and Tears of Themis and built up a large fan base.

Characteristic of their games is that you can play them for free. However, there is also the possibility to unlock content faster with real money that you would otherwise only get by grinding for a long time.

In addition, the games regularly receive additional content, such as new characters in Genshin Impact, so that the community can always discover and play something new. Genshin Impct is now bringing update 3.5.

• At 500,000 registrations: 50,000x credits
• At 1,000,000 registrations: 3 Star Rail Passes
• At 2,000,000 registrations: Avatar “Welcome Trailblazer”
• At 3,500,000 registrations: 4-star figure Serval
• At 5,000,000 registrations: 15 “Star Rail” passes (not yet reached)

When will Honkai: Star Rail be released? So far there has been no official indication of when the game will be released. However, there are suspicions that the game could be released on April 26, 2023, as you could already see a planned date in the App Store.
