One Piece manga: Luffy and Zoro have to team up with two (former) enemies
Monkey D. Luffy and Roronoa Zoro are arguably forced to work with enemies in the One Piece manga.
One Piece really revs up on the road to the grand finale. Great chaos is breaking out at the moment. This means that our heroes, willy-nilly, even feel compelled to work with people who are—or were—their enemies. Everything seems possible now.
DANGER, SPOILERS follow for the latest manga chapter!!
One Piece: Latest Manga Chapter Forces Luffy into Unusual Alliances
What’s the matter? The One Piece manga is in its final major saga. The current Egghead arc demands everything from the Straw Hat Pirates. All over the island with Dr. Fighting breaks out in Vegapunk’s Egghead lab, and the Seraphim are loose.
These Seraphim weapons cannot be disabled by the Vegapunk clones, and all communication and cameras on the island are down. That means that dr. Vegapunk itself cannot be found.
Meanwhile, the Seraphim continue to attack and spread across the island. They separate their opponents from each other and attack Luffy and Lorenor Zoro, among others. The two are finally reunited, but find themselves in a precarious position.
The two meanies Lucci and Kaku were bitten by the extremely mysterious Stussy. This has put them into a sleep that is almost fatal to them. As the Seraphim Weapons attack, Luffy and Zoro defend their sleeping enemies.
Then the two antagonists of the Straw Hat Pirates gang propose to team up. This gets very little response from Luffy and Zoro, but it still looks like they’re going to bury their animosities for the moment in order to eke out a life together (via: comic book).
- Who is Kaku? Kaku is a criminal who belongs to the Kyoshiro family in Wano Country. He earns his money, among other things, with extortion money.
- Who is Lucci? Rob Lucci is a Cipher Pol or CP0 secret agent and belongs to the world government. He was already the main antagonist of Luffy and Co. in two manga arcs.
