WoW WotLK Classic: Meterorite crystal has become a bit more effective
The WoW developers had already made improvements to some Algalon pieces of jewelery in WoW WotLK Classic with a hotfix, but meteorite crystal for the mana users among you has now been adjusted again. Stackable mana regeneration buff increased from 68 to 85 per stack.
Back on February 17th, 2023, the developers of WoW WotLK Classic adjusted some of the trinkets that drop from Ulduar boss Algalon. The Comet Tail and Dark Matter proc effects and Meteorite Crystal’s use effect have been changed. The makers of WoW did not go into detail about exactly how the change turned out. But in the case of meteor crystal they don’t seem to have been enough.
At least the developers of the Classic team announce that they have once again adjusted the trinket for improved mana regeneration with the hotfixes on the night of February 22, 2023. Those of the casters who use the thing will be happy because there was a noticeable buff.
Adjusted the stackable buff from Meteorite Crystal
The effect of the trinket is not a proc, but a useable one. After tipping the trinket, every spell cast within the next 20 seconds grants a stacking bonus regeneration of 68 mana every 5 seconds. Spells cast without mana do not increase this buff. Stackable 68 mana every five seconds (before the hotfixes of February 17th it was apparently 60) seems to be too little for the WoW makers.
Meteorite Crystal’s stacking buff now grants 85 mana per stack every five seconds. Healers and mana-intensive caster styles in particular will certainly appreciate this buff if they often run out of blue magic juice during a boss fight.
