While hanging out on Tarik’s VCT LOCK//IN 2023 stream, the CSGO superstar s1mple claimed that NAVI would improve if he replaced any of his players and he himself was on stage.
In terms of Valorant talent, NAVI is a pretty stacked team. Four of the five players on this team are from the FPX roster that disbanded following the franchise’s 2023 move to major regions.
These players have since teamed up with cNed, someone who played a major role in ACEND’s 2021 VCT victory. This team has some of the best players in Valorant and high expectations behind them.

s1mple, one of the most recognizable players not only in CSGO but in all of esports, stated that NAVI’s Valorant team would be better if he was on it. “If I were to sit there in place of any NAVI player right now, I would destroy them.”
s1mple claims he would dominate Valorant on the NAVI team
s1mple’s reputation precedes it. From taking home many major CSGO titles to being recognized as the defining player of the last decade of competitive Counter-Strike, he has a cabinet of trophy stacks.

Valorant has become a destination for CS pros, with many players moving on from the title to try their hand at Valorant pros. There are some big differences between the two games, but the core shooting mechanics are pretty similar.

s1mple stated that he would “destroy” if he traded NAVI’s Valorant team, and that it would be a instant team upgrade on whatever they have on the list.
“I’ll just shoot them in the head. That’s all. I don’t even need skills, that’s why I play Reyna.” s1mple has a track record of excellence as both a rifler and an AWPer, so it’s no surprise that he leans towards a duelist like Reyna.
Also, s1mple hasn’t ruled out a move to Valorant in the past. He still has a few things he’d like to accomplish in CSGO before thinking about jumping ship, but there’s no telling what this veteran CS pro could do with some practice playing Valorant and a good team around him.
