Geforce RTX 4070 Ti: Galax launches white custom design in Japan

Most reference and custom graphics card designs come in dark colors, but companies often offer light-colored models as well. With regard to the Geforce RTX 4070 Ti, there are corresponding graphics cards in the form of the Aero OC from Gigabyte, and Galax currently offers three suitable models: A Geforce RTX 4070 Ti HOF, an EX Gamer White and a SG White 1-Click O.C. In addition to these variants, there is now a fourth graphics card, which is only available in Japan.

Rebranded for Japan

Specifically, this is a model offered by the Galax subsidiary brand Kuroutoshikou Galakuro. However, this brand does not seem to be acting independently, because the said white custom design – the Galakuro RTX 4070 Ti E12GB White TP – might look familiar to some players. Finally, the Galakuro graphics card is indistinguishable from the Galax/KFA2 RTX 4070 Ti EX Gamer White except for the stickers.

Some of the marketing material and the overall specifications are also the same for both models, for example both models have identical dimensions and a boost clock of 2,670 MHz. The biggest change with this “new” graphics card is that it is intended for the Japanese market. In addition, there could possibly be differences in price, but at least so far the white graphics card is not yet available from local dealers.

Due to potential import costs, the street price of the Galakuro graphics cards should hardly be relevant for local customers. Instead, it would be more important for the Galax or KFA2 models to be available in Germany as well: As already mentioned, the company does have some white graphics cards on offer, but these are currently available not listed in the PCGH price comparison. If you want to buy a light-colored custom model in this country, you are currently limited to the Gigabyte RTX 4070 Ti Aero OC.
