Hogwarts Legacy: The Aggro Knights are the best part of the game

Shortly before the release of Hogwarts Legacy, I had a big wish: The magic school itself should be peppered with secrets and magical Easter Eggs to become the big star of the game and lo and behold, that’s how it ended up being.

Not only is there a lot to discover in the open world outside of the magic school, there are also many a surprise lurking in the winding corridors of Hogwarts. My absolute highlight, which I only noticed after dozens of hours of play, are two knights who seem to be standing around in the corridors quite apathetically.

Why in such an incredibly bad mood!?

More precisely, it is about two suits of armor that can be found in several places in the magic school. Walking past the two tin buckets, I only noticed at first that one knight was gently pushing the other. But this is where the magic begins.

Completely aggro: If the left of the two knights starts to hum softly, his neighbor goes completely nuts, grabs his lance and bludgeons his tin companion into all its individual parts.

I’ve recorded what it looks like here:

As brutal as the whole thing looks, I was just perplexed at the moment. I really didn’t expect something like this to happen.

The whole thing becomes the finest comedy nor by the time-delayed last kick of the aggro knight, who calmly returns to his place shortly afterwards.

JK Rowling’s transphobia: The success of Hogwarts Legacy indirectly benefits Harry Potter author JK Rowling, who participates through existing publishing rights and the associated sale of the books. Rowling continues to be active in anti-LGBTQIA+ rhetoric and actively supports anti-trans policies in the UK. If you want to find out more about the topic, you will find a summary of the most important controversies surrounding Hogwarts Legacy here.

Just one of many Easter Eggs

The knights are my absolute favourites, but in general the developer Avalanche has come up with some exciting but also funny details inside and outside the magic school: croaking flowers, flying watering cans, countless moving pictures, deeply sad ghosts, howlers hissing at students and, and, and.

If you look around in Hogwarts Legacy, you can discover new things for dozens of hours and that was exactly my great hope for the game in the Harry Potter universe, for which a successor has already been announced by the way.

What little detail is your absolute highlight in Hogwarts Legacy?
