The long-awaited Bethesda role-playing game will probably be shown at another showcase shortly. Rumor has it that fans can look forward to new gameplay that will reveal an in-depth look at the world of sci-fi RPGs.

Actually, Bethesda’s new AAA role-playing game Starfield should have been released long ago. However, the release, originally scheduled for November 11, 2022, has been known to have been pushed back to the first half of 2023, making fans all the more hungry for new information on the RPG’s release date and gameplay.

Showcase could still take place in March 2023

But the wait could soon be over. Because according to current rumors, Bethesda is planning an exclusive and detailed showcase for Starfield for March 2023. VideoGamesChronicle editor Andy Robinson tweeted on February 24, 2023he had heard that the showcase announcement would be made very soon.

This statement was indirectly confirmed by Jez Cordon, editor at WindowsCentral, on the Xbox Two podcast. Corden said the showcase will be announced next week, beginning February 27, 2023. It is therefore conceivable that Bethesda will hold a corresponding live event in March 2023.

We think it’s quite likely that the developers will then also announce the final release date for Starfield. In addition, fans can expect a very comprehensive gameplay walkthrough after the team showed off 15 minutes of footage at last year’s Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. Incidentally, Starfield will be available for Game Pass on Xbox and PC from day one, whenever it is finally released. A release for other platforms such as Playstation 4 and 5 is not planned.
