Bethesda and Xbox are reportedly planning to announce “soon” when the next reveal of the highly anticipated role-playing game, Starfield, will take place.

Earlier this year, Xbox confirmed that it was in the process of planning some kind of showcase that would be entirely dedicated to Starfield. And while the news on this front has been completely silent ever since, it looks like this won’t be true for much longer.

Through the reporter VGC Andy Robinson, Bethesda and Xbox’s announcement for this Starfield showcase is said to be “imminent.” Robinson did not specify when such an announcement might arrive, but based on his writing, it seems likely that we could hear more in the coming days.

Xbox hasn’t currently provided a window on when this event will occur, but assuming a confirmation arrives this week, it seems feasible that the showcase could happen sometime in March.

By all accounts, Starfield is the biggest exclusive Xbox has ever scheduled to release in 2023. Originally planned to release late last year, Starfield was later pushed back to 2023 and hasn’t received a new release date since.

In all likelihood, when this showcase of the game takes place, we should receive a new announcement regarding its eventual release. Beyond this though, the live stream in question is also sure to give us a deeper look so far at what to expect from Starfield on the gameplay front.
