Tales of Symphonia Remastered in Bad Condition: Developers Apologize
The Tales of Symphonia Remastered development team has apologized for the “inconvenience” related to the quality of the remaster.
Fans found that the remaster only runs at 30 fps, while the original clocked in at 60 fps on GameCube. The reason for this is probably that the remaster is based on the PS2 version.
And more problems
In addition, players report crashes and other bugs.
“Thank you for playing Tales of Symphonia Remastered for Nintendo Switch,” read a statement on Twitter (via VGC).
“We have confirmed that there is a gameplay issue in the product version currently on sale. We are currently investigating a fix.”
When exactly a patch can be expected remains open, but it should happen as soon as possible.
Tales of Symphonia Remastered is not only available for Nintendo Switch, but also for PlayStation and Xbox.
