Wild Hearts: Graphics analysis confirms miserable performance
A new graphic analysis of Wild Hearts certifies the game’s poor performance.
Wild Hearts has been available since February 17, 2023 and Digital Foundry is now submitting an extensive graphics analysis of the game. The analysis shows a sobering overall picture and that the game performs poorly in all areas.
The Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 come in at 1080ü to 2160p at 30fps in Resolution mode and 1080p at 60fps in Performance mode. The textures are of inferior quality and even worse on the Xbox Series S, which clocks in at 900p at 30fps.
Shadows pop into the picture depending on the viewing angle, motion blur is defective, many objects lack shadows and much more.
Digital Foundry also notes that the PlayStation 5 has an IQ bug and pixel crawl flickering in resolution mode. The Xbox Series X doesn’t have these bugs, but reduced the ambient blur in comparison. Constant stuttering and stuttering was noticed even on the PC.
Wild Hearts was developed on the Katana Engine and is therefore miserably optimized for all systems.
