Riot Games will hold its first Valorant showmatch as content creators Tarik ‘tarik’ Celik and Leonardo ‘frttt’ Braz with their chosen teams battle in front of Brazilian fans in São Paulo, ahead of the VCT LOCK grand finale. //IN.

Valorant’s first showmatch scheduled to take place between North American content creator tarik and Brazilian streamer frttt. Both creators have co-streamed the event and other VCT tournaments in the past, with a strong following that should boost the game’s viewership, and the showmatch will also be played in front of a live crowd in Brazil.

tarik is currently signed to the Sentinels and frttt is attached to Team Liquid as a content creator, both organizations whose pro rosters also competed in the Brazilian tournament.

The two creators will choose their teams and face off right before the VCT LOCK//IN tournament grand finale on March 4.

The showmatch will also mark the official presentation of the new Valorant Agent. Both tarik and frttt will play Agent 22 as they lead their respective squads, which will be made up of “content creators and VCT professionals,” according to Riot Games.

VCT LOCK//IN showmatch: Current
