KO in the first round: Rocky protégé sends Marvel’s superhero to the cinema stages

Wow, that did it. With a dry right, Creed 3 – Rocky’s Legacy (read our film review here) sends Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania dry to the ground in the German cinema charts. That was a brief battle for the top spot for the week’s highest grossing film. At least that’s what the first estimates say. According to this, the ant man from Marvel came in third place. What’s going on there?

Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: A flop at the box office?

The 31st feature-length film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe staggers through the box office ring. The special effects look lousy, there are boos in the cinema hall and even in the USA it already seems to be running out of air. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania turns out to be weaker Start of phase 5 of the MCU. Poor reviews rained down on the blockbuster like painful jabs and after just the first weekend at the box office, his condition was noticeably gone.

Compared to Creed 3 – Rocky’s Legacy, the Avenger’s third solo adventure looks like a third-rate carnival boxer. According to current forecasts, the ninth film in the Rocky series will be around 275,000 cinema fans lure them into the cinemas.
