Mario Kart 8: Release of the 4th DLC wave with eight tracks in just a few days
Announced only recently, the release will follow soon: Nintendo has new information about the trailer with a trailer fourth DLC wave from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe announced. Once again you can look forward to a colorful selection of routes.
After Nintendo announced the fourth of a total of six DLC waves at the beginning of February, they now have a fixed release date ready: Am 9th March the fresh content pack for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe arrives on the Nintendo Switch. As with the previous DLC waves, there are a total of eight tracks on board, most of which are known from previous games.

If the fourth DLC wave hits in a few days, you can hit the slopes again – but then also with Birdo. The now 43rd playable character is part of the new DLC and also keen to smack a blue tank over the ears of the first place winner.
This is possible, among other things, on the eight new routes, one of which is completely new:
- Fast Lane Singapore (Mario Kart Tour)
- Bangkok Dusk (Mario Kart Tour)
- DK Skikane (Mario Kart Wii)
- Exit Amsterdam (Mario Kart Tour)
- Riverside Park (Mario Kart Super Circuit)
- Mario’s Track (Mario Kart DS)
- Waluigi Arena (Mario Kart Double Dash)
- Yoshi’s Isle (new)

Anyone interested in the new tracks and Birdo can purchase the complete booster track pass, which includes a total of six DLC waves, for 24.99 euros acquire. Players who have subscribed to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack will receive the content expansion at no additional cost. Incidentally, you can also catch up on a few exciting Game Boy and Game Boy Advance classics in that subscription service.
