New MMORPG takes place in the world of a well-known RPG – “The nostalgia hits me hard”

Zenonia Chronobreak is a cross-platform MMORPG currently in development. It takes place in the world of Zenonia, a popular mobile RPG.

The developers Com2us Holdings announced Zenonia Chronobreak for the first time almost a month ago, at first it was supposed to be called “World of Zenonia”, but they changed the title. Now the first teaser for the MMORPG has appeared.

What kind of game is this? So far we know that Zenonia Chronobreak will be an MMORPG with cartoon graphics that will continue the story of Zenonia. The combat system is non-targeting, so you don’t have to do too much yourself.

There is not much information about the gameplay yet. However, the MMORPG is said to use Play2Earn mechanics such as blockchain and NFTs (via MassivelyOP).

A series of RPGs is now followed by an MMORPG

In the so-called “Legacy Teaser” you can see all Zenonia titles that have been available so far: Zenonia 1-5 and Zenonia S. The latter was released in 2017 and is the first part of the series that is completely available online.

The first Zenonia game was released in 2008 for Playstation Portable, Nintendo DSi and the very first smartphones. Since then, Zenonia has regularly received sequels, but all of them only appeared for mobile devices.

Zenonia Chronobreak, on the other hand, is already referred to as a “cross-platform MMORPG” in the title of the teaser. As a result, it can be assumed that the game will be released for mobile as well as for the PC.

After listing all Zenonia games, the video announces Zenonia Chronobreak as the upcoming part of the series with the words “I’ll finally meet you”.

Under a Post on reddit to announce the MMORPG, players share their nostalgia with each other.

When is Zenonia Chronobreak coming out? The MMORPG should appear very soon – in the 2nd quarter of 2023, i.e. between April and June. The release will probably take place in the home country of Korea first and will later get a global version.
