Medical documents surfaced online claiming that Andrew Tate is suffering from lung cancer. Now, his manager is talking about the rumored forecast.

Controversial internet commentator Andrew Tate is being detained by the Romanian authorities on charges of human trafficking, rape and racketeering.

The former kickboxer rose to fame last year and received extensive criticism for his views on women. Now, he finds himself in jail amid an ongoing investigation into the charges against him.

Despite pleading for release, Tate’s request was recently denied for a fourth time, and a recent health diagnosis is only adding more fuel to the fire.

Medical Documents Claim Tate Has Lung Injury

In March 2023, medical documents appeared online stating that a lesion had been detected in the “upper right” part of one of his lungs. Tate reportedly traveled to Dubai for medical attention, where these findings were collected.

The documents also included a letter from Tate’s GP at King’s College Hospital in the United Arab Emirates, who pleaded with Tate to return to the country for treatment.

“It is my professional medical recommendation that Andrew be urgently repatriated to the United Arab Emirates to undergo these medical investigations without delay,” the letter reads. “Time is of the essence and any further delay in prior investigations may have a serious negative implication for Andrew’s physical health.”

The leaked documents quickly sparked a flurry of theories online, some believing them to be false, while others suggested Tate might be using the diagnosis to escape Romanian police.

Andrew Tate’s manager apparently confirms lung cancer diagnosis

On March 3, the Tate manager spoke about the lung cancer rumors, stating that the diagnosis was, in fact, true.

“Very well, many people ask me if [the] Tate’s lung cancer story is true,” he wrote in a post through his Instagram stories. “Yes, that’s true. I was the one who was driving him to and from the hospitals in Dubai. I have no further details to share.”

This is just the latest news on Tate’s arrest following claims by his lawyer that the commenter was merely “playing a character” in his online content.
