For many fans, that counts Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series one of the best anime games ever. After the last sign of life in the series was more than ten years ago, Bandai Namco Entertainment surprisingly announced last night a new part of the brand at.

The announcement was made during the Dragon Ball Battle Hour 2023 events and gave up with a short teaser video announced that a new part of the popular fighting games series is in the works. The short clip begins with Game scenes of the old partsbefore Goku can be seen turning into a Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan respectively Super Saiyan Blue transformed.
Further details about the game are currently unknown. Thus, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced neither for which platforms the title is in development, nor when a release of the anime fighter can be expected. A developer studio was also not revealed. Furthermore, it is unclear whether it is a Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 4 or a reboot will act in turn.
The previous installments of the franchise, originally titled in Japanese Dragon Ball Z: Sparkling started, created at Studio Spike. The development team released the 2005-2007 three main parts of the brand, which were then released for the PlayStation 2 and the Nintendo Wii. 2010 followed the last offshoot to date exclusively for the PlayStation Portable.
Cross-platform were inspired by the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series over 4.6 million copies sold (via Dragon Ball Wiki). That makes her one of them most successful game seriesbased on Akira Toriyama’s hit manga about Goku, Vegeta and their friends.
