Hogwarts Legacy: The release for PS4 and Xbox One has been postponed again

That's how long you need for story and extras in Hogwarts Legacy.

The PS4 and Xbox One versions of Hogwarts Legacy are still a long way off.

Hogwarts Legacy celebrates one success after the next, the game is already over just two weeks after the release 12 million copies sold – and it’s not even available for all platforms yet. So far, the game has only been released for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Players on Last Gen and Switch still have to be patient.

For everyone with a PS4 and Xbox One there is now extra bad news: The last gen versions of the open world game have now been pushed back by another month.

This is the new release of the PS4 and Xbox One version of Hogwarts Legacy:

The reason given by the developers on Twitter for the postponement was that more time was needed to ensure “the best possible experience on all platforms”.

Originally, the Last Gen versions were supposed to be released along with those for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on February 10, 2023 before being pushed back by two months. So it seems the team is still dealing with some issues on PS4 and Xbox One that need to be ironed out.

And the Nintendo Switch version?

Don’t worry, at least the release date for the Nintendo Switch version hasn’t changed at the moment. Hogwarts Legacy is still scheduled to be released there on July 25, 2023.

What do you think of the shift? Can’t you wait any longer or is it more important to you that the game appears in as bug-free a state as possible?
