New Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi Confirmed In Early Development

It has been announced that a new entry in the video game series is in the works. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi. There’s no word on whether it will get the remaster, remake, or new entry in the fighting series treatment.

At a special event of the series called Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour this year, it was revealed that the new game of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi it is now in early production. However, there is no release window or date yet for the new entry. Although a clip of a Japanese trailer could be seen showing how the visual fidelity of the franchise will be updated for this new release. In addition, it is confirmed that we will also see Goku in Super Saiyan Blue mode in the new game.

It’s been 16 years since the last game of Budokai Tenkaichi was launched on the market, being one of the best valued games of our favorite Saiyan. There were other deliveries like the Dragon Ball Xenoverse and Dragon Ball FighterZ to fill that void, but fans have a special fondness for the Budokai series.
