The free update expands The DioField Chronicle with new missions, equipment, skills, new boss and more.
Square Enix is today releasing the free version 1.20 update for strategy RPG The DioField Chronicle, available for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
The update brings a lot of new content for players, including five new missions, two new side missions, equipment, skills and more to further improve the gaming experience.
In this new update, fans can look forward to learning more about Waltaquin Redditch, first introduced in the main game. The update allows players to step into the role of Waltaquin and experience five new main missions and two new side missions.
Players can also explore a new area in the camp, learn more about Waltaquin’s choices, and wield the new Waltaquin-specific weapon type, Book of Spells. The Spellbook weapon type offers the Necromancy and Necrotie skills, which can be used to summon skeleton warriors into battle and turn units into skeleton dragons.
Fans can put their skills to the test by taking on the terrifying new enemy, Behemoth. This new boss is the most powerful enemy players have ever faced. And if you want more challenges, you can look forward to the New Game+ bonus mode, which adjusts enemy levels, stats, attacks, and more.
Very Hard difficulty has also been added to the main game.
The update for The DioField Chronicle is available immediately to owners of the base game on named platforms at no additional cost.
