Ubisoft: Strategic reorganization in Europe

The company Ubisoft, is working on a strategic reorganization in Europe and is said to be closing a number of branches.

Ubisoft wants to strategically reposition itself and carry out a reorganization in Europe. Thus, “Ubisoft Benelux” will be closed on April 1, 2023 – which is definitely not a bad April Fool’s joke if the email from Ubisoft that was sent in the net appeared is, is correct.

“In order to meet the challenges of the future, Ubisoft management has decided to close a number of offices in Europe. Unfortunately, Ubisoft Benelux will also be affected by the planned closure, with most employees being made redundant as of April 1, 2023.”

“As a result of the closure, Ubisoft BV will fully outsource its current distribution of physical games in the Benelux to a distributor to be announced at a later date.”
