Vampire Survivors: A sequel would have to offer something radically new

Vampire Survivors 2 won’t be available any time soon unless the developer comes up with a “radically new” idea.

A Vampire Survivors sequel isn’t expected any time soon. Speaking to GameSpot, Vampire Survivors solo developer Luca “poncle” Galante stated that he plans to release any new ideas for Vampire Survivors as content updates.

There won’t be a sequel anytime soon, he said, unless he comes up with a “radically new” idea.

“The way Vampire Survivors is designed allows us to bring both new content and new gameplay mechanics to the existing game, so why make a sequel?” Galante said. “I think if we do a sequel or a spiritual successor, then we should offer something radically new.”

Vampire Survivors is included with Xbox Game Pass. The first expansion Vampire Survivors: Legacy of the Moonspell is for 1.99 euros available.
