After a recent leak, Capcom has officially confirmed that the expansion Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will launch on April 28 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC via the Windows Store. Available on Nintendo Switch and PC, sunbreak introduces a new base of operations, Elgado, and new locations. There are master rank quests and new monsters like Garangolm, Lunagaron, and Malzeno, an Elder Dragon. The expansion also implements new toggle ability swapping and switching abilities, allowing players to swap between two sets of equipped abilities.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Title Update 5 will also arrive in April for Nintendo Switch and PC players. There will be a new digital event next month with more information about the update. As for when other title updates will arrive on Xbox and PlayStation, that will be detailed later. You can read our review at this link.
