Every class in WoW: Dragonflight currently has talents that require a decent buff to be playable. The Blizzard developers have also recognized this with the hunter and are therefore making some class changes for all three hunter styles with WoW Patch 10.1.

With WoW Patch 10.1 the developers are tackling class changes that have so far fallen by the wayside. This means not only a bunch of adjustments for the Shadow Priest, but also for the three playstyles of the Hunter. According to the developers, skills that don’t feel as impactful will be updated while active.

Class changes for Beast Mastery, Marksmanship, and Survival Hunters in WoW Patch 10.1

  • snake bite: Damage bonus increased to 75% (from 30%).
  • Bloody Frenzy has been revised. As long as call of the Wild active, your pets gain the Predator Strikes effect and Cobra Shot applies snake venom to targets hit.

  • bombardment has been revised. fatal shot grant you now skillful shots.
  • Heirloom of House Windrunner has been slightly revised. Aimed Shot now always fires 2/4 Wind Arrows at your target. Every 2/4 Wind Arrow grants you a charge of Aimed Shot and 30 Focus.
  • Deadly shots was replaced by the new talent In The Rhythm.
  • new talent In The Rhythm: When fully channeled through Rapid Fire, your Haste is increased by 15% for 6 seconds.
  • Black is now a 1 rank talent and grants the same effect as the previous 2 rank version.


  • Ruthless Marauder is now a 2 rank talent with the same effect as the 3 rank version.
  • failure: In addition to the previous effect, each auto attack also reduces the cooldown of Wildfire Bomb by one second.
