With the extensive, preliminary patch notes for WoW Patch 10.1, the devil is in the detail! If you look closely, you’ll see: Worgen are getting a new folk ability! But don’t worry, it has no performance impact whatsoever, serving more as a comfort racial for the players who want to silence their inner wolf out of combat.
The preliminary patch notes for WoW Patch 10.1 are extremely extensive and rich in content. From this you learn, among other things, that the developers of Blizzard with the current Disintegration of the Ruincaller’s Disintegration channeling cancel are not very satisfied. And at the shadow priests there’s a lot of work to be done.
Under the item Characters there is another small but fine update for those of you who play a worgen. You get a new national ability, which, however, is to be regarded as a comfort racial – you will look in vain for a performance boost for professions or ways of playing.
Calm down the wolf with new Racial
The new racial ability will basically calm Worgen’s inner wolf. Or rather their appearance. The new Worgen racial “Calm the Wolf”, which does not seem to be implemented on the test server yet, has the following effect:
- Calm the Wolf: Activate to control your worgen instincts and automatically assume human form when leaving combat. Learned when Two Shapes learn.
In memory of: Two Forms, when activated, causes you to switch to the currently inactive form, i.e. Worgen to Human or Human to Worgen. So if you want to automatically turn back into a human after completing a fight in the future, you can activate this permanently with “Calm the Wolf” without having to constantly use two forms. A nice comfort update for the wild worgen, don’t you think?
