The PCGH editorial team is now looking for a new video trainee who will support us both in video production and editorially. Make our successful YouTube and TikTok channel even better by reporting on interesting hardware in chic videos!

Computec Media is now looking for a reinforcement in the Fürth location

  • Video trainee PCGH (video editing) or

Your tasks:
From day one you will work on an equal footing with the entire PCGH editorial team. This means that you will be involved in all the tasks of a video editor, from brainstorming exciting topics and formats to video shooting to post-production and further processing for short video formats on TikTok or Youtube Shorts, but you will also be trained.

Depending on whether you are more of a gifted video track juggler or a gifted moderator, you will be used more in front of or behind the camera, depending on your taste.

You will also maintain contacts with press representatives from PC hardware and games manufacturers, maintain contacts with the video community, take part in editorial and press conferences and learn how to use editorial tools and our online CMS. The entire editorial team supports you in a relaxed working environment. You will receive fair payment for the traineeship.

Our requirements:

  • Natural talent for organizational issues
  • Cool head in stressful moments
  • Not at war with spelling
  • High affinity for technology and passionate interest in PC hardware
  • Journalistic experience, especially in the field of video (Youtube/Twitch/Facebook/Instagram/TikTok)
  • Experience in using video editing and soundtrack software
  • Don’t be afraid to stand in front of the camera
  • Willingness to take on responsibility
  • You should find it easy to work independently
  • Safe handling of PCs and Office programs as well as good Internet and English skills
  • Minimum age 18 years
