Atlas Fallen: First gameplay trailer for the new game from The Surge developers

After the release date was recently announced, there is now also a first gameplay trailer Atlas Fall. Deck 13’s new game sends you into a desert full of dangers.

Atlas Fallen was announced in August of last year, but so far the developers have held back with publisher Focus Entertainment. However, the release is getting closer, which is why the marketing machine is slowly being started. However, there are no detailed game scenes in the latest trailer.

Atlas Fallen: Action-packed battles against huge monsters

However, the approximately one-and-a-half-minute trailer entitled “Rise from Dust” gives an impression of what awaits you in Atlas Fallen: A desert world whose greatest danger, however, is not the high temperature. Instead, you can expect battles against monsters that are clearly superior to your character in terms of size.

However, you can use numerous weapons and a bit of magic to defeat the various enemies. The combat system is very action-packed and probably not reminiscent of Capcoms by accident Monster Hunter series. But see for yourself in the trailer:

The comparisons to Monster Hunter also fit from another side: According to the developers, you should gradually be able to improve your weapons over the course of Atlas Fallen. For this you use the so-called “Essences of the opponents”, which you receive after a successful fight.

Release in May in two versions

If you already feel like fighting in the desert, you have to be patient for a few more weeks: Atlas Fallen is coming according to a recent announcement at the May 16, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X | S. The Deck 13 game is available in two different editions at the time of release: The Standard Edition only contains the base game including any digital pre-order bonuses, including a few skins.

For 99.99 euros there is also an store from publisher Focus Entertainment the Signature Edition, which is limited to 100 copies worldwide. In addition to the game, it contains exclusive artwork by James Lowe, the game’s Artistic Director, in the form of a numbered, laminated wooden frame, a hand-signed certificate of authenticity and the “Ruin Rising Pack” DLC.
