Starting today, Wednesday, March 15th, is the pre-download for the open beta of Diablo 4, the latest installment in Blizzard’s legendary Hack & Slay saga. This download is initially only valid for pre-orders with early access, the official open beta will follow a week later. Here you can find out everything you need to know about the pre-download and test.

Prepare for your descent into Hell by pre-downloading the Diablo 4 Beta! Below you will find everything you need to know about the pre-download. Also, we have one big specialwhich clearly summarizes everything important about the beta such as test zones, bosses, rewards, community events, etc.

  • Early Access: Pre-download starts on Wednesday March 15 at 17:00 CET.
  • Open Beta: Pre-download starts on Wednesday March 22 at 17:00 CET.
    • If you’ve already downloaded the game for early access, you don’t need to download the game again for the open beta.

How to pre-download the Diablo IV open beta

personal computer

  • Starts the Battle.net client. If Diablo IV is not yet in your favorites bar, you can do so via the symbol + add to. Alternatively you can find Diablo IV also over the side All games. It’s right at the top of the list.
  • Opens the game page of Diablo IV. Click on the blue button To install. The game will be installed. Once it’s done, click Playto start it.
