In the MMORPG Oldschool Runescape (Steam), a player has invested 20,000 hours to achieve a very special goal: He upgraded a character with the minimum combat rating of 3 to maximum skill points in all other abilities. But in the process he made enemies… and among those enemies there was probably just the wrong one.

This was his mistake: Didddleboy was so proud of his success that he has been noticed in the Runescape community for the last few years by belittling and attacking others who tried to emulate him.

Because he was, in his eyes, the only one who had also maxed out the “Slayer” ability, he called himself the “one true MAX Skiller” – everyone else who also spoke of themselves as Max Skillers would not be TRUE pure-skillers, that’s just him.

The only way to increase the Slayer ability in old school Runescape is to kill monsters. As such, skillers typically exclude this ability. Didddleboy, however, managed to increase this ability to the maximum via a very time-consuming detour:

Hacker blights “pure” account by killing mobs

Now what is the cruel punishment? We had known since yesterday that the account was gone. However, it has now emerged that the hacker actually “ruined” the account by increasing combat skills to 38.

The character is no longer “pure” but disfigured.

On reddit, some users commented with a lot of mockery:
