Valheim: Balanced mode at 40fps for Xbox Series X|S in the works

Valheim will soon be getting a 40fps balanced mode on Xbox Series X|S.

As of yesterday, Valheim’s Game Preview is also available for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Gamers on Microsoft’s current generation of consoles may have discovered that there are two graphics modes to choose from on Xbox Series X|S.

So players can choose between the quality mode, which prioritizes the survival game with 30fps and gives preference to the graphics. In the Performance mode, Valheim shows itself with a lower quality, but with 60 fps.

If you are looking for a mode that lies exactly in between, you can be happy. Iron Gate Studio co-founder Henrik Törnqvist said on Xbox Wire that they’re working on a balanced mode. This balanced mode should then reach 40 fps with better graphics, which is above the optics mode performance.

There is no exact date for the third graphic option in Valheim. But it should be added with one of the next patches.
