WoW nerfs its final boss, Raszageth is weakened by up to 20%
The current final boss of World of Warcraft is being nerfed again. A whopping 20% damage is canceled from the Storm Eater.
It’s normal for the balancing to be constantly tweaked in the first few weeks of a new expansion. But few raids have received as many adjustments as the Vault of Incarnations. Once again, the end boss Raszageth has to be dealt with on Heroic and Mythic difficulties. But there are also a few weakenings in the “Mythic+” area. The changes are live now.
Raszageth nerfs
Dragonflight’s current final boss is still causing problems. Especially on Heroic and Mythic difficulties, a single death in the early stages can already mean that the fight is a failure. This will now be changed and at the same time occur less frequently. Because the damage of the boss fight is significantly reduced and the DPS requirements for a particularly critical phase are reduced.
- Raszageth (Heroic)
- Electric Lash deals 20% less damage.
- Unstable Current deals 20% less damage.
- Storm Surge absorbs 20% less damage.
- Remaining Charge periodic damage reduced by 20%.
- Raszageth (Mythic)
- Electric Lash deals 20% less damage.
- Unstable Current deals 20% less damage.
- Storm Surge absorbs 20% less damage.
- Stormseeker Primalist’s Stormbolt deals 25% less damage.
- Remaining Charge periodic damage reduced by 20%.
- Fulminating Charge now slows players instead of rooting them. The tooltip will be corrected in a later patch.
In summary, the fight against Raszageth will be much more forgiving, whether on Heroic or Mythic difficulty. Guilds that are currently still failing at the end boss could now receive the decisive push to defeat Raszageth before the release of patch 10.0.7.
Mythic+: Azure Vault nerfs
There are also some nerfs in the Azure Vault that will make the dungeon more enjoyable. These are:
- Mythic+ difficulty completion timer increased to 35 minutes and 30 seconds (from 34 minutes).
- Increased the cooldown of the Vault Guardian’s Flashing Scales ability.
- azure blade
- Azure Blade’s mana drains over 60 seconds (was 50 seconds).
Overall, the changes should ensure that the Azure Vault is completed within the time limit more often, even at higher levels. Because not only does everyone have a few seconds more time, but also some of the most “annoying” abilities that mainly prolong fights have now been weakened. This should give a small boost to all groups that have had problems here so far.
What do you think of the changes? Long overdue and useful? Or is it slowly good with the adjustments?
