The successful simulation series Assetto Corsa is getting a successor, as developer Kunos Simulazioni has announced. It is now official when Assetto Corsa 2 will be released.

Assetto Corsa Competizione itself has been on the market since May 29th, 2019 and focuses on the most realistic possible representation of GT3 racing series. This also includes the GT World Challenge, although this racing series now has an intimate relationship with the racing game. Virtual races with Assetto Corsa Competizione are held at each race weekend in addition to races with real vehicles.
