At the CES 2023 held at the beginning of the year, it was clear that the Roborock company would launch three new vacuum robot models: The Roborock S8, S8+ and S8 Pro Ultra are the latest household helpers in the manufacturer’s portfolio. The new vacuum robots should be available in stores from March 1st – where you can buy the Roborock S8, S8+ and S8 Pro Ultra is shown in the following overview.

Roborock S8/S8+/S8 Pro Ultra: Details and Shop Links

Compared to the previous generation, the Roborock S8 series has a significantly increased suction power: Instead of 5,100 pa, the new vacuum robots work with 6,000 pa. In addition, a double rubber roller brush is used, which is intended to ensure better dirt pick-up and less tangled hair. In addition, the camera-driven, reactive 3D obstacle detection and avoidance is now also integrated in the basic model.

The two higher-quality devices in the Roborock S8+ and S8 Pro Ultra also have the new “RockDock” docking station, which enables the mop to be washed automatically. The suction station itself can also offer automatic self-cleaning and dust emptying, while the water tank of the S8 Pro Ultra is refilled at the same time. The latter also raises the brush and mop by a few millimeters to create fully automatic and targeted self-cleaning and drying.

The prices are logically different depending on the model selected. The basic model in the Roborock S8 has an RRP of 699 euros, but there is a discount campaign at participating dealers for the release: the manufacturer is offering the Roborock S8 at a “glamorous price” of 549 euros until March 22nd.

The Roborock S8+ and S8 Pro Ultra models are slightly more expensive. The price here is 899 euros for the Plus model and 1,499 euros for the Pro Ultra. However, both vacuum robots are not yet listed by any dealer – as soon as Roborock offers the first promotions, we will provide the information in the following list.
