FIFA 23 was the last soccer video game that Electronic Arts released under that name. As is well known, after almost 30 years, FIFA and the publisher are going their separate ways. The reason: EA no longer wants to pay for the naming rights in the title and will publish under “EA Sports FC” in the future.

But video games with FIFA in their name will continue to exist in the future. FIFA President Gianni Infantino reiterated his plans to do so, even stating that this new series will be the standard in the genre in the future.
