LoL announces nerfs and buffs with patch 13.6 – expert immediately complains: “Far too little!”
The League of Legends developers announced on Twitter what the next patch 13.6 should look like. The changes for the patch were shared on Twitter after a short period of experimentation.
What will change with the patch? Riot Games has brought some major changes with the last few patches. For example, they completely reworked the champion Yuumi. In the upcoming patch, however, it will be back on the list:
- For Yuumi, the nerfs focus on the Q ability, which costs more mana and is made slower. This reduces their influence later in the game.
- Vayne, Galio, Talon and Ashe are buffed, with Nick “LS” De Cesare speaking of a “placebo buff” for all champs except Vayne, which will not change much.
- The changes to the systems are mostly nerfs. These adjustments are primarily related to in-game healing, which primarily removes the option for ADC’s to survive for far too long on excessive healing and shielding.
In the patches, the developers at Riot Games are reacting to the changes in the meta and roles that are far too strong. Here we have included the patch notes for you:

The top plane can brace itself
What is the impact of the changes on the top plane? Especially for players who care about the MMR and their ranking position, this will be important. The changes to Vayne are intended to improve her options early in the game and carry her into the late game in that regard.
Vayne is a champion who has always been known for destroying enemy tanks late in the game. The changes to the W ability aim to reduce this. However, Vayne remains playable. However, the changes could make them attractive for the top plane.
The developer has already commented on the subject and said that there is an option that Vayne could become too strong on the top plane. They probably already have changes in mind, but want to wait and see how the patch develops.
What about the patch in general? Coach and analyst Nick “LS” De Cesare commented on the changes, saying they were “far too few.” In his “Rundown” (via YouTube) he explains how the changes will behave in detail.
The adjustments to the characters Galio, Talon and Ashe are just “placebo buffs”. While they are important in restoring the champion to his position, they are not enough. The current meta is still too strong for that.
In the course of the patch, he is of the opinion that this patch, as it has been released so far, will not affect the current meta much. How do you feel about this opinion? Tell us in the comments.
