Next update for Pokémon Crimson coming – fixes ‘corrupt’ egg, among other things

Pokémon Crimson Raid featuring Paradox form of Legendary Pokémon Suicune starts today

The two Paradox Pokémon come back into play at the end of April.

Last week, the chance for Pokémon Crimson & Crimson players to catch Wind Surge and Iron Leaf in Tera Raids ended. The Paradox Pokémon were only available for a limited time, but this caused a lot of problems.

The Pokémon Company has therefore apologized to all fans and vowed to fix the mishap with an upcoming update. We explain all the background to this in the following article.

Bad Egg instead of Paradox Pokémon as a reward

What happened? Some fans had the problem that they only got a bad egg instead of wind surge and iron leaf. Since the egg counts as a catch and players were only allowed to catch one of the Paradox Pokémon, they missed the chance to get the two special pocket monsters.

What is a Bad Egg? The bad egg was introduced by the developers as a placeholder in case something goes wrong in the game. This prevents the game from crashing if there are bugs or incorrectly executed cheats. The egg will never hatch, so it’s completely useless. It just wastes space.

When is the update coming? The Pokémon Company is planning the update end of April to publish. At the same time, the Tera Raids should take place again, so that players with the faulty egg also have the chance to get Wind Surge and Iron Leaf. As soon as the update is available, we will let you know.

The two new Pokémon Crimson & Crimson DLCs also bring new Pokémon:

This is how you can unlock the raids

To unlock the 5 Star Raids, you must have completed the three paths of the main story. After the credits roll across the screen, the 5-star raids are automatically unlocked.

However, beating the game is not enough to activate the Tera Raids. You must also receive the news about the raid via the Poké portal. This only works if you have a stable connection to the Internet. After that, the 5 star raid should be in the game world.

What problem do you think the patch should also fix?
