WoW Patch 10.1 finally removes the lousy grind for flying in BfA
The WoW expansion Battle for Azeroth is now more than two years ago and yet players cannot simply explore the island on their flight mounts afterwards. Luckily that’s changing: From WoW Patch 10.1, a grind is no longer necessary to unlock flying on Kul Tiras and Zandalar.
As we cruise through the newest areas of WoW on dragon backs, one expansion continues to balk at giving players easy access to the lofty heights: Battle for Azeroth. The end of the extension is now more than two years ago, but if you want to visit the old content afterwards, you have to be prepared for a lot of work if you want to fly: success “Battle for Azeroth Pathfinder” is necessary for it. It requires reputation grind, exploration of all zones, progression of story quest lines and 100 different world quests! But that will soon be over.
WoW Patch 10.1 removes grind for flying in Battle for Azeroth
With the upcoming and highly anticipated patch 10.1 for WoW (buy now ): Dragonflight flies the “Flying on Kul Tiras and Zandalar” reward from the description of the Battle for Azeroth Pathfinder achievement. Accordingly, as long as your character is generally able to fly, you will be able to take off easily.
The Wonderwing 2.0 mount is part of the Pathfinder achievement of WoW: Battle for Azeroths. From patch 10.1 it will be the only reward of success – flying on Kul Tiras and Zandalar will be possible without the grind.

Incidentally, the Boy Scout success has not become completely useless because of this. It also gives you access to the Wonderwing 2.0 parrot mechanical mount, which is great for gnomes, mechagnomes, and all engineers!
The Story of Boy Scout Successes
The requirement to complete a Pathfinder achievement for flying first appeared in the Warlords of Draenor expansion. Both WoD and Legion achievements have been removed in previous patches. So there was only Battle for Azeroth as a remnant of this game design that many people found frustrating. Grind content in the current content for flying? Justifiable. The same with old activities that you actually just want to graze on? boo! BfA is now two expansions back – so it’s high time that the developers no longer have to complete the pathfinder success with patch 10.1 in order to be able to fly through the clouds over Kul Tiras and Zandalar.
