Disney Speedstorm: Disney’s Mario Kart competitor is racing into Early Access in April

Mickey, Goofy and Captain Jack Sparrow spin the tires: Disney Speedstorm nearing its early release. Developer Gameloft announces with a trailer when the starting signal for the Early access falls.

After the Mario Kart competitor was postponed again just before the end of last yearit is now clear: On April 18th will Disney Speedstorm fr PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Nintendo Switch appear. However, not yet as a full version, but only in early access format for the time being, very similar to Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Disney Speedstorm: Three different Founder’s Packs

Although Disney Speedstorm is planned as a Free2Play game, early access will cost money. According to Gameloft, there will be three different starter packages on April 18th, which differ in price and content – especially in terms of the unlocked racers and the included in-game currency. Depending on the version, there are also special cosmetic items.

• Exclusive founding member racing suit for your four racers
• Exclusive kart livery for your four racers
• Exclusive founding motto and avatar

Ultimate Founder’s Package – 69.99 euros

• Early access to Disney Speedstorm
• Racers: Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Mulan, Hercules & Captain Jack Sparrow
• additional racer of your choice
• 12,000 tokens (in-game currency)
• 3 Golden Pass credits
• Exclusive Founding Member race suit for your six racers
• Exclusive kart livery for your six racers
• Exclusive founding motto and avatar
• Wheels and wings for the Donald Duck kart

All packs will be available in each platform’s store starting April 18th. On the PC you can get started both on Steam and in the Epic Games Store, as long as you are interested in racing games and you are looking for a change Mario Kart 8 seeks.

For Gameloft, it is already the second Disney game that the French developer is working on. Only last year did the team publish Disney Dreamlight Valley is a competitor to Animal Crossing, which is due to get a multiplayer mode later this year.
