As expected, Capcom has announced that its cooperative/competitive shooter exoprimal will start an open beta test. The open beta is scheduled to take place over the weekend, ending on March 20.

Participation in the open beta test of exoprimal is free, and players can join the beta by logging in with their Capcom ID on the official Web site of the game. The open beta test is available on PC via Steam and the Windows Store, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4.

According to the announcement, the goal of the open beta test of exoprimal is to “observe the gaming experience of your participants” as well as see how well the game servers can handle the stress of cross-platform matchmaking around the world.

Capcom has warned that the open beta could have issues including freezes or crashes, as well as network issues. Participating in the open beta and answering the survey will also reward players with an Aibius Medal charm available when the game fully launches.

exoprimal is scheduled for release on July 14 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
