Far Cry 5 receives a patch to run the game at 60 FPS on Xbox Series and PS5
After recently offering a sneak peek, Ubisoft has thrown out a patch for current consoles for your FPS farcry 5 to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the game. Now the game allows the 60 FPS on Xbox Series X / S and PS5, which applies to the base game and its three DLCs.
Xbox Series X players also get a small bonus with support for 3840×2160 resolution, while Xbox Series S players can run it at 1920×1080. On PS5, it reaches a maximum resolution of 2880×1620. Those who want to try the higher frame rate and resolution, but don’t own the game, can participate in the next free weekend.
The test runs from March 23 to March 27, while the discounts are available on the Ubisoft store until April 4. You can even pick it up on Steam with a juicy offer of 85 percent off. While the sequel/spin-off far cry new dawn it’s also on sale at 80 percent off.
