Geforce price comparison: price drops from RTX 3060 to 4090 by up to 90 euros
Nvidia recently unveiled a new Geforce RTX 40-series bundle that includes the Geforce RTX 4090, 4080, and 4070 Ti models. This promotion affects both desktop graphics cards and laptops equipped with a Geforce RTX 4090 or 4080. Buyers of the corresponding devices will receive the Bite Back Edition of the game Redfall, which can currently be pre-ordered for 99.99 euros. However, this gives rise to hope that the new Geforce graphics card could be positioned in a significantly lower price range in order to remain competitive. It remains to be seen if the speculation is correct and how Nvidia will shape the value for money of the card. The following is an analysis of the prices of Geforce graphics cards and an overview of where you can get cheap access.
How are the Geforce prices developing?
Prior to this article, we last did a Geforce price comparison on March 1st. At that time the price development was rather static, but since then a lot has happened with the prices. Fortunately, almost the entire model range has become cheaper, we registered price reductions from the RTX 3060 to the RTX 4090. Here is an overview of the price decreases for the models and shops we observed:
- 10 euros cheaper: Geforce RTX 3060 8G and RTX 3080
- 20 euros cheaper: Geforce RTX 3060 12G, RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 4080
- 25 euros cheaper: Geforce RTX 3060 Ti and 4070 Ti
- 40 euros cheaper: Geforce RTX 3070
- 90 euros cheaper: Geforce RTX 4090
The RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3090 are no longer observed by us and are listed below – they are in the four-digit price range and are therefore sometimes more expensive than the modern RTX 40 graphics cards, which you should give preference to, especially if you are on are looking for high ray tracing performance.

Geforce sales charts: What do customers buy on Amazon?
At least two representatives of the RTX 40 series have crept into the Amazon sales charts, interestingly even a high-priced RTX 4090. However, the RTX 3060 12G, which covers the price range under 400 euros, still sets the tone. A Geforce GT 730 is still surprisingly popular, probably to do the image output on a PC with a CPU without IGP or as a temporary replacement in the event of a defect.
