Starfield: More extensive than Skyrim and Fallout 4 – developer comments on the game time
Starfield is said to be more extensive dropped than previous Bethesda games. In conversation with the Website IGN.com says Bethesda veteran and Starfield director Todd Howard that it takes between 30 and 40 hours to complete the space epic’s campaign. The main story would be more extensive due to significantly more quests. Although the main quest would still be fine-tuned, it is around 20 percent larger than the previous one Bethesda games like Skyrim and Fallout 4.
30 to 40 hours for the main quest
While The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim and Fallout 4 each took players around 25 hours to complete a playthrough, Starfield would take between 30 and 40 hours to complete the main campaign. If you want to fully explore the game world, you can probably plan much more time. According to Howard, it’s about 100 solar systems with over 1,000 planets to travel, all of which promise individual adventures and mysteries. There is also a detailed shipbuilding. You can read information about the gameplay of Starfield in a separate article under the link.
After the release, the developers’ journey is not over: Bethesda promises Post-launch Starfield with additional DLC expansions to want to add. The modding community should also keep the space adventure “fresh”. Howard comments: “We’ve learned that players have been playing our games for a very, very long time. They’re still playing Skyrim, for example. Not for ten years, but they’ll come back eventually – and then there’ll be additional content. Of course we’ll bring it additional content for Starfield. We also think the game will be a dream come true for the modding community simply because there is so much they could do.” Starfield is slated to launch in 2023.
