Skull and Bones is arguably nearing release, but only for current-gen

Good News: Skull and Bones Earns South Korean Age Rating (1)

Ubisoft’s Skull and Bones is one of those titles that fans are unsure if it even exists. The publisher himself repeatedly emphasizes that the game is still under development, but next to a quite short clip from April this year there isn’t really anything to show so far. Despite that, Skull and Bones is set to be released in early 2023, and that timeline is starting to seem less likely. About a month ago, the title received an age rating in South Korea, and now it’s rated in Brazil as well.

Skull and Bones got a new rating

As Twisted voxels reports, the new rating is a classification that games typically only receive when they are in the final stages of development and will be released relatively soon. The rating also included some new information about the title.

The platforms listed here are PC, Stadia, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. At the original announcement was Skull and Bones (buy now €99.77) intended for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The older consoles have arguably been jettisoned, making Skull and Bones a proper current-gen title.
