What are you going to play this weekend? (September 18) – Talking Point
[ad_1]
Another busy week in the world of Nintendo has flown by. We’ve seen the return of a famous arcade racing series, a price ‘fix’ for the Switch in Europe, the 20th anniversary of a prized console, and a surprise Switch firmware update that included a much-requested feature: Bluetooth audio support. .
After all that, it’s time to relax and discuss our weekend game plans. Some mThe Embers of the Nintendo Life team have done exactly that below, so feel free to read our posts and then join yours via our comment section. Enjoy!

I fell apart and picked up Eastward, as a lot of people seem, so that will be my long Switch game to tackle while I wait for Metroid Dread. Finally to get. My search for back work continues as well, as my goal is to finish a game of Oxenfree and actually see Shinsekai: Into The Depths to the end (I recommend both, especially with headphones).
In another place I’ve been playing The ingenious escape, which is very simplistic in terms of gameplay but a lot of fun to experiment with; it’s colorful, psychedelic, and it sounds amazing. I’ll probably finish it by the end of the weekend.

Hi there. This weekend I’m going to speed up my check engine style with RiMS Racing, crashing some cars into some trees in Rush Rally 3 and doing some time to finally get stuck at Eastward. I bought Rush Rally 3 for just a couple of pounds last week from the eShop sale and I have been very impressed by its fast and fun arcade handling, not as punishing as the simulation efforts, it still pushes your skills when attacking the tracks with enough strength.
And as far as Eastward goes, well, everyone has been talking about it incessantly, so I feel like I need to get stuck and see what I’m missing. FOMO innit. Have a nice weekend whatever you are doing or playing!

Hey people! This weekend I will jump to Eastward, who looks absolutely lovely. I’m a real fan of pixel graphics and the images here look phenomenal so I hope the game sticks too!
I don’t have anything else planned for Switch this week, but I will spend a little time with Yakuza: like a dragon and Superliminal on Series X. I loved Superliminal on Switch, so I’ll take any opportunity to play again; highly recommended, in fact!

Wow, it’s been a hot minute since I wrote one of these. My renewed love for the Game Boy Advance means I’m starving for more Metroidvania action after revisiting Metroid: Zero Mission and Metroid Fusion during my extended hiatus … I could revisit Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow next. I’m currently playing Front Mission on SNES, a masterpiece that should take me several more weekends to clear. So all that’s left is my extensive, legendary, and growing Switch order book and this past week’s releases. To be honest, I’m not sure what to choose next because No More Heroes III was such an amazing ride that it will be difficult to find a suitable replacement.
Unsurprisingly, the game of the week is Cruis’n Blast. I can’t believe the utter lack of arcade racers on the market for this generation, so when a good one arrives it is always a priority. Time to unlock some crazier vehicles.
As always, thanks for reading! Be sure to leave us a comment below with your weekend game plans!
