Echo Generation arrives with Xbox Game Pass on October 21

Just in time for spooky season, we’re excited to share that Echo generation will be released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Windows PC on October 21. And, (drum roll please) will be available with Xbox Game Pass from day one!
Some of you will remember the supernatural world of Echo generation of the demonstration at The Game Awards festival and [email protected] showcase. Soon you will have the complete Echo generation experience and we can’t wait for you to find out more about the mysteries of Maple Town.
Demonstration questions like “Where are those Christmas lights?” “Why are there so many talking trash pandas?” or “What is the history of that mysterious accident?” will be answered in a few weeks.
Set in the 90s, Echo generation is a moving story about the supernatural, family, and the longing of growing up in a small town. It has a delightful mix of exploration, missions, and unique characters inspired by some of our favorite adventure games we’ve played growing up.
There is much to experience in Echo generation and we wanted to create our version of the old school, Paper mario-Turn-based combat style, made with a special touch of coconut cucumber. With over 30 unique minigames and a delightful cast of characters and pets to level up, there are plenty of ways to customize your build to take on dangerous enemies and bosses.
Like the children in Echo generationOur team at Cococucumber has diverse backgrounds. We wanted to see ourselves represented in the game, so we created a selection of various characters for you to choose as your hero. Finally, there is one more surprise! Hint: Can you guess who your crush will be?
Echo generation It was created during the pandemic and was a creative outlet for all of us on the team during this time. We look forward to sharing something moving and beautiful with all Xbox fans.
