World of Warships: Legends presents the first campaign with a ship of choice as the final prize. It’s backed by a Halloween event, split into two parts and more new ships!
Element of Choice Campaign
The Element of Choice headliners, Tier VII Premium Destroyers Friesland and Loyang, are quite unique. The pan-European Friesland carries no torpedoes on board, making it a perfect gunboat, while the Loyang is Legends’ first pan-Asian ship, paving the way for others. 100 milestones over 5 weeks backed by Active Admiralty and one of those ships is yours! If you want both, there is the option to buy the one you did not choose as a reward for doubloons.
Saving Transylvania and a light in the dark
October is the time for scary things. There is a lot of that in Legends with a Halloween event in two parts. The first has to do with helping Transylvania reach the Portal to escape the attack of the malicious Rasputin and his henchmen. The second, vice versa, is about closing the same Portal once and for all, but Rasputin and his fleet of henchmen want to have a say in that …
The events will be available separately, with Saving Transylvania leading the way to Light in the Dark. Prizes include a Tier III Premium British Battleship Bellerophon, Genoa-themed Tier IV Italian Cruise Commanders, and a selection of in-game items.
Soviet cruises in early access
More reinforcements for the Red Navy! Three new Sonar-equipped cruisers with high-caliber guns on board, Kotovsky, Gorky and Tallinn at levels IV-VI respectively, reach early access. A personal quest is a compliment to each of them, and as usual, the next update will make this alternate branch researchable with Riga Tier VII as an add-on.
Balance changes and quality of life improvements
Carrier concealment, including the Dark Silhouette skill, was toned down. Now making war against them is easier! As for the other improvements, probably the most important is the option to see the ship’s cargo before purchasing it, including interchangeable consumables. This works for Premium and Bureau shipments in the same way.
