Random: Forget the fear, it’s all about Metroid: Another M on Twitter right now

Metroid Dread It could have been released for Nintendo Switch (and it’s outstanding by the way), but on social media, the conversation is about Team Ninja’s 2010 Wii title, Metroid: Another M. While it was mostly well received back then, over time it has fallen out of favor.

So why all the fuss now? While many have been talking about the latest MercurySteam release, it seems a spin off of this is about whether or not ‘Other M’ was a plague in the history of the Metroid series. Many Metroid fans are apparently “defending” the title, while others still don’t like it. Here’s a rundown of some of the many responses to this topic, which has now generated over 80,000 tweets.
