WoW Dragonflight: Alpha officially started, that’s in it
On the WoW Dragonflight Alpha servers, a few players can already test the new class and the first features of the upcoming expansion. With the official start of the alpha, we will show you what can now be tested on the servers.
the Rumors about the start of the WoW Dragonflight alpha have come true. July 14, 2022 is the Dragonflight Alpha officially launched and a select few players can already embark on adventures on the Dragon Isles and try out the new Dracthyr Caller class.
Check your game version of WoW in the drop-down menu in the Battle client (buy now )whether you can install the Dragonflight Alpha under “Game version”. If you haven’t registered for the beta yet, you can on the official Dragonflight website. We’ve already played the Alpha and share our experiences with the new Caller class, Dragon Riding, and more. But what else is actually inside?
This is currently playable in the Dragonflight alpha
Press pictures also show that zones like Valdrakken (the capital in Dragonflight) have already been tested internally or at least set up once. According to our alpha tests, the world looks quite ready. NPCs and quests have also been shipped to the areas in large numbers. So the alpha already seems very far, even if the list of classes and features available so far looks rather short. With a maximum of five months until the release of Dragonflight, the developers seem to be on course at the moment. Provided that Dragonflight really appears in 2022 as announced and is not postponed again.
