Horror fans who are in the mood for a concentrated pack of disgust and appreciate the typical HR Giger aesthetics have certainly already marked October 21st in blood red on their calendars – at least everyone who owns an Xbox Series X or S or on the PC gamble. Scorn appears exclusively for the current generation of Microsoft consoles and the PC. Around three months before the release, the development team revealed a few facts. You can find out the most interesting things here.

You’ve been busy for so long

It’s all about this: For many, Scorn is a game that still leaves a few questions unanswered. The world looks quite unique, we can expect macabre, shooting and solving puzzles. But this horror adventure won’t be too long. In the current edition of The Pulse Monthly the team has now revealed that we are about 6 to 8 hours will be busy.

This is of course only an estimate and the developers add:

Game times may vary, of course, depending on how long it takes to progress the puzzles.

This could mean that puzzles take up a very large amount of space in the game. The development team intends that we are still groping in the dark on many aspects of the game. They reveal:

We’ve always been intentionally cryptic when talking about the game, and that’s because Scorn’s atmospheric horror-adventure was created with self-reflection and exploration at its core.

The developers report on the setting of Scorn:

With great attention to detail, we are focused on building a unique world, smothered in an ominous atmosphere of suffering and despair.
